The Demon of the Dark Forest 🌳😈

The warrior is was once called the incarnation of freedom,
But eventually it was destroyed and abandoned in the war.
And, in the end, the wreckage is occupied by
An evil spirit and united with the devil tree of the forest.

.....

It was a hero who made a great record early on.
But for some reason, it is now integrated with the devil tree.
The erosion of the evil spirit altered its ability,
In particular, the change in the arm part is most noticeable.

 

한 때에는 자유의 화신이라 칭해졌던 전사는
결국 전쟁에서 파괴되고 버려지고 말았지요.
그리고, 결국 그 잔해는 사악한 정령이 차지해
숲의 악마 나무와 하나가 되어 있어요.

......

일찍이 위대한 전적을 올린 영웅적인 존재였다.
하지만 어떤 이유에서인지 지금은 사악한 정령의 나무와 일체화되어 있다.
사악한 정령의 침식으로 그 능력이 변질되었으며,
특히 팔 부분의 변화가 가장 두드러진다.

 

이전에 소개했던 '어두운 숲의 감시견' 의 컨셉을 응용해서 그렸던 그림입니다. 우측에 있는 것은 원래는 로봇으로, 파괴된 그 잔해에 사악한 정령이 깃들어 사악한 정령 나무의 숙주가 되었다는 설정의 존재예요.

 

본 바탕이 된 존재의 모티브는 (믿겨지지 않으실 수도 있겠으나) 이것.

 

이들의 영향도 상당히 받았었습니다. 팔의 변형은 좌측, 머리 모양은 우측에서 유래됐습니다. 이외에 R-TYPE 시리즈의 주적인 바이도의 영향도 어느 정도 받았었더랍니다.
