Akiko Shikata 의 음반 Laylania 의 대표곡이자 1 번째 음악입니다.

 

가사 내용은 사실 그렇게 어렵지는 않았습니다.

어려운 한자어들이 곳곳에 널려 있어서 해석에 애를 먹기는 했지만요.

쉬운 말을 어렵게 돌려 썼다는 느낌입니다. -_-;

夢で聴いたようなオルゴヲルが響く 
長い天幕が色とりどりに並び 
惑う君の手に招待状が揺らめく 

「ようこそ　今宵は音色仕掛けの宴

猫の瞳のような三日月が今哂い 
夢の模造品に埋もれた路地裏で

Translation :

머나먼 기차 소리도 잠드는 밤에 
꿈에서 들은 듯한 오르골이 울리네요, 
기나긴 오로라가 여러 색으로 나란한데, 
소리에 취한 그대의 손에 초대장이 흔들리네요. 

"어서 오세요, 오늘 밤의 음악 기계 축제, 
메마른 마음을 원하는 만큼 적셔 드리는 
하룻밤만의 카니발로." 

라일라니아, 
손뼉을 치며, 노래해요, 새벽까지, 
돌고 도는 별들은 깜박깜박 반짝이죠. 
벨벳 장막을 지나, 
요란하게 즐겨봐요, 마지막까지, 자아.... 

묘안석과 같은 초승달이 지금 미소짓네요, 
꿈을 모사한 것에 묻힌 뒷골목에서. 
그 날에 잃어버린 소중한 것들이 
미로를 빠져나와, 그대의 곁으로 다가와 울고 있네요. 

라일라니아, 
악단의 선율에 취해서 
춤추는 환상 속에서 흔들흔들 빠져 있으면, 
한 순간의 열락에 어느새, 
사로잡히며, 얽히며, 절정에 이르지요. 

수많은 밤의 이야기, 문자의 바다로 소리의 파동이 
무지개빛 비늘 가진 광대 물고기가 오늘 밤,
그대를 이끌어 갈 거예요. 

라일라니아, 
음계의 기적을 연주하면 
낡은 바이올린도 장난스럽게 재잘거리겠죠. 

라일라니아, 
손뼉을 치며, 
노래해요, 춤춰요, 새벽까지, 
정열의 퍼레이드가 울려 퍼지는 지금. 

 

Footnote :

カオカゲウオ : 일본 사이트 내의 일본어 사전에도 없는 말로서, 마지막의 두 글자는 '물고기' 혹은 '~어' 를 의미하기에 물고기의 일종으로 추정해 볼 수 있지요. 두 글자씩 끊어서 이렇게 해석해 봤습니다 :

カオ - 얼굴, カゲ - 모습, ウオ - 물고기

 

  '얼굴' 을 의미하는 영단어는 face 로 이 단어에서 파생된 것처럼 보이는 단어로 facetious 가 있습니다. '우스꽝스럽다' 혹은 '우스개짓하다' 라는 의미를 가지며, 그래서 그런 일을 하는 물고기라는 뜻으로 광대 물고기라 번역했음을 밝힙니다.

- 이렇게 뜻을 정하며 해당 단어를 번역하느라 시간 소모가 좀 있었네요-_-;

 

face 와 facetious 는 사실, 어원이 다릅니다만, 어원 단계에서도 서로 연관성은 있어 보이기는 합니다.

- face : 라틴어 facies (파끼에스 / 파치에스)

- facetious : 라틴어 facetus (파께뚜스 / 파체투스)

 

カルナバル : 카니발. 영어 이외에는 카니발로 칭해지지 않는 단어로 해당 단어에 대응되는 단어는 아래와 같습니다 :

- 이탈리아어 : carnevale (카르네발레), carnavale (카르나발레)

- 프랑스어 : carnaval (까르나발)

- 독일어 : Karneval (카르너발), Fesching (페싱)

- 에스페란토 : karnavalo (카르나발로)
